Mental health is how you think and feel on the inside. It is not a bad thing, everyone has different mental health and different ways of looking after it.

In the same way that you might fall and hurt your knee, you might have time when you do not feel good. When you hurt your knee, you might rest for a bit but tomorrow you’ll be back on the playground. How you feel works like that too!

This is not a bad phrase because everyone has mental health.

Just feelings

You might feel things like happy or sad, excited or hungry.

 

You might sometimes think things you do not want to. These feelings all make up your overall mental health.

Embarrassing

However you feel, you are okay to feel that way. You are not the first person to feel this way.

Always treat people with unconditional positive regard. This will probably get you the best response.
